What is a Property Owners Association?
The POA is a membership of homeowners that is responsible for the enforcement of the covenants and by-laws for the properties in the neighborhood. The Association is also responsible for maintaining the landscaping, utilities, and Insurance of the (three and one half acres) common areas of the neighborhood. The goal of our Property Owner's Association is to enhance the appearance of our neighborhood and maintaining the property values.
When did I join the Las Ventanas POA?
The Las Ventanas a los Organos Property Owner's Association membership includes 85 homes in our subdivision. Membership in the POA is not optional, as should be disclosed during the purchase and/or closing of your property. Every property owner automatically becomes a member of the LVOPOA when they purchased their home in the Las Ventanas subdivision as was acknowledged when you signed the HOA declaration.
Property Owners Association Fees
Each Property owner will be assessed an annual fee of $200.00, payable on or before January 2nd of each year for the calendar year to follow. Fees for the first year of ownership should be paid at closing of the purchase, on a prorated basis; if not the Association will require the fees due to be paid directly to the LVOPOA Treasurer.
